Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glad Tihata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tihata looks for the body kick but Gracie saw that one coming.

It looks like Mauricio Gracie has been cut.
Gracie with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Tihata to score with a decent uppercut.
Tihata throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Tihata takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tihata cracks Gracie with a good jab.
Gracie moves in looking to clinch but Tihata pushes him off.
Tihata throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tihata moves into range and connects with a jab.
Tihata chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Sloppy strikes from Tihata. Those never looked like landing.
Gracie looks for a takedown but Tihata sprawls well.
Tihata misses with a head kick.

Gracie is rocked!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Tihata has cracked Gracie with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Tihata lands another huge swinging hook and Gracie tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Gracie, before Tihata can land any more shots!
