Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Hizo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hizo throws a shot from downtown. Dean moves away and avoids it.
Hizo throws a predictable looking body shot
and Dean counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dean shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dean fails with the takedown
and Hizo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hizo throws a hook but Dean blocks it.
Dean displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hizo throws out the jab.
Hizo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dean stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Dean shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eddie Dean. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hizo jabs Dean to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Dean closes the distance but Hizo moves to the side
and Hizo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A low kick from Dean is predictable there
and Hizo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dean doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hizo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hizo misses with a combination

and Dean counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hizo won't be happy with that.
Hizo is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Dean has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Dean tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Hizo is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Hizo can't do much from the bottom here.
Dean looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Hizo is avoiding damage well.

Dean is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hizo has escaped the position, nice work there.
