Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Musashi Miyamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teppo Tahkojuusto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Tahkojuusto's choice of entrance music: AC/DC : T.N.T. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tahkojuusto is defended easily by Miyamoto.
Miyamoto takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Tahkojuusto misses with a takedown
and Miyamoto counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Teppo Tahkojuusto has been cut.

Tahkojuusto sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Miyamoto knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tahkojuusto on the ground.
Tahkojuusto manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Miyamoto manages to get himself to full guard.

Tahkojuusto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Miyamoto swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Tahkojuusto fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Miyamoto, pushing him back against the cage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Miyamoto is staying active underneath Tahkojuusto, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Tahkojuusto decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Miyamoto feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
