The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders IV looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kil is fending him off so far but Sanders IV persists. Nope, Kil circles away and we're back to standing.
Mark Sanders IV seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kil goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Kil throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sanders IV's head.
Sanders IV fails with a takedown attempt.
Kil tests Sanders IV's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Sanders IV gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kil counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Sanders IV changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kil looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Kil is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Sanders IV is controlling him well.

Kil is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Sanders IV has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Kil is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sanders IV asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Sanders IV is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kil has escaped the position, nice work there.

Sanders IV is putting a hurting on Kil here, landing some big shots from side control.
An elbow from Sanders IV crashes against the mat.
Kil knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sanders IV on the ground.

Sanders IV has hold of Kil's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kil tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Sanders IV cranks the arm and Kil screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kil, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
