Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Roger Cummings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yaw Yan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by bad romance. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yan throws a shot from downtown. Cummings moves away and avoids it.
Yan misses with a takedown attempt - Cummings sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Cummings swings for the body but Yan moves out of range.
Yan misses with a head kick.
Nice defenses there by Yan.
Yan misses with a double jab
and Cummings counters with a nice body shot.
Yan lands a high kick!
Yan walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

letting Cummings counter with a right hand.
Yan throws a nice head kick!
Yan throws a front kick aimed at Cummings's knee but Cummings avoids it well.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Yan.
Yan misses with a head kick.
Cummings cracks Yan with an open hand slap.
Yan lands a head kick!
Cummings blocks a head kick by Yan.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cummings has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Yan.
Yan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cummings circles away.
Roger Cummings has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yaw Yan.
Yan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cummings lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Yan pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Yan tries a head kick but it misses.
Yan thumps Cummings with a low kick.
Cummings avoids a kick to the body.
Cummings scores with a body shot.
Cummings takes a head kick and keeps coming.
A combination from Cummings does no damage.
Yan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cummings tries to avoid it but Yan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cummings to the ground. Cummings escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Yan throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Cummings counters with a one-two to the body.
Yan falls off balance throwing a combination
and Cummings counters with a right hand to the body.
Yan looks gassed!
Yan shoots for a double leg takedown but Cummings sprawls well. He's pushed Yan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Yan tries to clinch but Cummings moves away
and Cummings cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Yan attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Yan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cummings as he avoids it easily.
Cummings looks to land a combination but Yan avoids it well.
Horrible takedown by Yan or perhaps it was just good defense by Cummings which made him look bad.
Yan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Cummings jabs at Yan's body.
Cummings throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Yan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Yan throws a sloppy head kick and Cummings moves out of range easily.
Yan takes one to the side of the head.
Cummings scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Yan doesn't seem bothered though.
Cummings lands a slapping body shot.
A nice combination there by Cummings.
Cummings is looking to wear down Yan with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Nice straight punches there by Cummings. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Cummings.
Yan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cummings to score with a decent uppercut.
Yan is rocked!
Cummings digs a good hook to Yan's body.
Yan is still on wobbly legs! Can Cummings finish him?
Yaw Yan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cummings scores with a nice head shot.
Cummings closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Yan out cold! Yan corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Roger Cummings!
