The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Areanas avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bowe tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Areanas shoots in for a double leg but Bowe sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Areanas misses with a wild body shot.
Bowe looks to land a left hand but Areanas moved out of range nicely.

Areanas is nestled in close to Bowe, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Bowe has hold of Areanas 's hands but Areanas slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Areanas lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Areanas scores with a big shot! Bowe's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Bowe! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
