Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Leonid Cheburtsow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mihail Korsanow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Korsanow connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Cheburtsow shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Korsanow's guard.

Korsanow is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Cheburtsow wants to control from the top but Korsanow keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Korsanow wants to sweep here but Cheburtsow controlling him for the moment.

Korsanow isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Cheburtsow stacks Korsanow on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Cheburtsow!
Korsanow regains half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cheburtsow is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Korsanow doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cheburtsow.
Korsanow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cheburtsow. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Korsanow is pressing down on Cheburtsow's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Korsanow is looking for a triangle but Cheburtsow pushes his legs off easily.
Cheburtsow postures up in Korsanow's guard and throws a big left but Korsanow blocks it.

Korsanow has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Cheburtsow is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Korsanow.
Korsanow takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Cheburtsow tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cheburtsow has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cheburtsow lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Korsanow down.

Cheburtsow has an Americana. Korsanow didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Cheburtsow is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Cheburtsow hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
