The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Refn misses with an uppercut
and Egan counters with a straight right hand.
Egan throws a nice looking combination but Refn bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Refn throws a shot from downtown. Egan moves away and avoids it.
Egan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Refn pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Refn throws a big shot that misses.
Refn lands a nice looking body shot.
Egan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Refn pinned against the cage. Refn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Refn bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Egan's head.
Egan looks for a takedown but Refn sprawls well.

and Egan counters with a shoot takedown. Refn fights it but they end up in guard.

Egan wants to stand and escape but instead Refn has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Egan might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Refn kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Egan walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Refn fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Egan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Refn stuns Egan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Egan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Refn.

Egan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Egan has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Refn finds it's way round the side to connect with Egan's head.

Refn stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
