Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chee Pono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Click Click Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Chee Pono has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chee Pono!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Click Click Boom!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom lands with a nice body punch.
Boom defending well as Pono loads up on a big left hand.
Boom shoots in for a double leg but Pono sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Pono looks to land a left hand but Boom moved out of range nicely.

and Boom counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pono won't be happy with that.
Pono takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Pono counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Chee Pono has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Click Click Boom.
Boom shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pono but Pono pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Chee Pono is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Pono motions for Boom to come forward. Pono throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Click Click Boom is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Pono pivots, looking for a leg kick but Boom is out of range and Pono settles back down.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Pono does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

and Boom takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Pono looks to land a right hand but Boom moved out of range.

Chee Pono has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Click Click Boom.

Pono tries to land a leg kick but Boom saw it coming and moves away.

Pono is pulling down on Boom's head. It's preventing any offense from Boom, at least for the moment.

Pono drops Boom with a huge uppercut! Boom drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Pono is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
