The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Atsushi content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Atsushi looks up at the clock and then as Erickson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Atsushi smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Atsushi shoots for a double leg takedown but Erickson sprawls well. He's pushed Atsushi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Atsushi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Erickson sprawls well. Erickson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Atsushi gets slowly back to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Atsushi fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Erickson to the ground. Atsushi is now in Erickson's guard.
Atsushi is stalling in the full guard.
Atsushi stands and throws Erickson's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Atsushi is looking to take a break and control but Erickson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Atsushi throws a strike aimed at the side of Erickson's head but Erickson avoids it well.

Kuroda Atsushi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
