Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jimbob Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Octo Pus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jimbob Junior!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Octo Pus!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pus as he jumps to the side.
Pus shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pus is defended easily by Junior.

Pus shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Pus loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Junior keeping moving, preventing Pus from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pus drops back looking for a leg! Junior is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Junior manages to kick Pus off! Pus jumps back into Junior's guard.

Pus is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Junior is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Octo Pus dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Pus shoots in for a takedown but Junior shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Pus decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Pus is trying to work for a kimura but Junior is defending well.

Pus takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Pus moves nicely into side control.
Junior on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Junior tries to get out of the position.

Octo Pus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Junior's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Junior keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Junior shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Pus throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Junior tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Pus is in Junior's guard.

Pus is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Junior has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pus can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Pus wants to control from the top but Junior keeps moving.
Pus lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Pus is in close to Junior's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Pus sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Junior's guard.
Pus lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Junior is refusing to be controlled, as Pus sits in half guard.
Pus is nestled in close to Junior, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Octo Pus is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Pus perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Pus passes the guard and advances to mount!

Junior tries to buck Pus off but he can't manage it.

Octo Pus has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
A nice combination there by Junior.
Junior tries a head kick but it misses.
Octo Pus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Pus.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Octo Pus.

Pus shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Pus was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Pus tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Octo Pus comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Pus winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
