Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kick Ass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nitram Eyricus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eyricus has chosen Eat You by Limp Bizkit as his entrance music. Kick Ass has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Nitram Eyricus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ass wants to get back to his feet.
Ass knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Eyricus on the ground.

Eyricus is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ass defends it well.

Eyricus frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Eyricus looking for a guillotine from mount but Ass is having none of it.

Eyricus has hold of Ass's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ass manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Eyricus looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Eyricus wants to finish this one by submission but Ass is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Eyricus.

Eyricus stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Ass throws a head kick that Eyricus semi-blocks.

It looks like Nitram Eyricus has been cut.
Eyricus connects with a single shot there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Eyricus uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ass has time to react.

Eyricus tries for a kimura but Ass is defending well.

Ass is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Eyricus has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Eyricus is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ass knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Eyricus is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ass has escaped the position, nice work there.

Eyricus goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Ass rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Eyricus's guard! Nice work there by Ass!
Ass has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Ass would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ass looks to clinch
and Eyricus counters with a nice uppercut.

Ass moves into the clinch successfully.
Ass keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Eyricus's efforts to push away.
Ass lands a good knee to the midsection. Eyricus won't want to take too many of those.
Ass tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
A frustrated look appears on Eyricus's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Eyricus drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Eyricus blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Eyricus blocks the elbow strike.
Eyricus wants to get back to striking at distance but Ass won't allow it.
Ass misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Eyricus.

Ass breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Ass tries to clinch up but Eyricus circles away and keeps his distance.
Eyricus looks to land a combination. Ass sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

and Eyricus counters with a stiff right hand.

and Eyricus counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Ass avoids the head kick by Eyricus.
Ass throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Eyricus takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Eyricus punishes Ass's body with a nice straight punch.
Eyricus missing with a left hand there. Ass was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Eyricus connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ass. Ass circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Eyricus moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Kick Ass has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ass uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

A jab lands there for Eyricus.
Eyricus jabs at Ass's body.
A combination from Eyricus does no damage.
Ass goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Eyricus connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Eyricus steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ass.

Eyricus drives through with a takedown into guard.
Eyricus loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Eyricus drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ass manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Eyricus has Ass in his guard.

Eyricus has his foot on Ass's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ass works his way back into a safe position though.

Ass has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Eyricus to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Ass is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Eyricus pulls down on the head and he's put Ass to sleep! This one is all over!
