Creed kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Welcome To The Jungle. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Rogers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Creed takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Creed tries to clinch up
and Rogers counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Rogers's jab looks to have found its range, popping Creed under the eye.
Creed ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rogers moves away.

and Rogers counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Creed thinking.
Rogers stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Creed darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Creed stops Rogers from getting back to his feet.

Creed is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Rogers has managed to free his arm - good work.
Rogers looks like he's trying to stand up.
Rogers pushes Creed off but Creed dives into side control.

Rogers tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Rogers is trying to get back to his feet but Creed has full control of the position and if anything, Rogers has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Rogers is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Creed is controlling him.

Creed throws and elbow that misses. Rogers uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Creed's guard. Nice move by Rogers!

Creed pivots and extends the arm, Rogers falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Creed! Well done that man!
