The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeSouza shoots and misses
and Laiho connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
DeSouza takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
DeSouza wants to clinch but Laiho slips to the side
letting Laiho counter with a right hand.
DeSouza takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
DeSouza gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Laiho counters with a solid body kick.
DeSouza tries for a takedown but Laiho circles away easily
and Laiho counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Laiho makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

DeSouza takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Whack! Laiho lands a heavy head kick that drops DeSouza. The ref tackles Laiho to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because DeSouza was done.
