Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rolfes shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Nicks connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nicks looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Rolfes gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Nicks counters with a head kick. That will keep Rolfes thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and Nicks counters with a nice leg kick.
Mario Nicks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bastian Rolfes.
Nicks buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

enabling Nicks to counter with a crisp jab.
Nicks slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nicks digs a good body shot into Rolfes's ribs.
No joy there for Nicks, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nicks misses with the combination.
A jab from Nicks finds it's way through Rolfes's defenses.
Nicks clobbers Rolfes with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Nicks scores with a leg kick.
Nicks throws out a loose jab but Rolfes uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rolfes tries for a takedown but Nicks circles away easily
and Nicks counters with a left and a right that stings Rolfes.
Rolfes looks gassed!

Rolfes has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Rolfes is rocked!
Mario Nicks is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nicks lands a big head kick that sends Rolfes to the canvas! Nicks follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
