The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuckwell throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Valery Vanchugov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vanchugov darts in trying to clinch
and Fuckwell counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Good shot there by Fuckwell.
A head kick from Fuckwell lands but Vanchugov takes it in his stride.
Fuckwell fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Fuckwell delivers a nice body kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vanchugov throws a left and a right that both miss
and Fuckwell counters with a thumping low kick.
Vanchugov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Fuckwell counters with a low kick, right behind Vanchugov 's knee.
Vanchugov is breathing heavily.
Fuckwell tests Vanchugov's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Vanchugov on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Fuckwell throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Vanchugov takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Vanchugov takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Fuckwell plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Vanchugov moves to clinch but Fuckwell breaks away
and Fuckwell makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Fuckwell scores with a nice head shot.
Vanchugov with a poor takedown
and Vanchugov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fuckwell lands a head kick. Vanchugov smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Vanchugov is rocked!

Fuckwell lands a left and a right that send Vanchugov crashing to the mat, dazed. Fuckwell thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh Vanchugov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fuckwell connects with a stiff jab that staggers Vanchugov - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
