Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Saverin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lamar Quinton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eduardo Saverin !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lamar Quinton!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Saverin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Quinton was covering up waiting for the punch and Saverin finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Saverin is looking to advance position but Quinton has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Saverin tries to reverse the position but Quinton maintains control.

Quinton has hold of Saverin 's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Saverin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Saverin is looking to improve his position but Quinton isn't that keen on the idea.
Saverin slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Quinton is working for a kimura but Saverin is defending it quite comfortably.

Saverin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Quinton perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Saverin is staying active underneath Quinton, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Saverin is looking to improve his position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Well, if Quinton is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Saverin cracks Quinton with a big right hand but Quinton just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

An elbow from Saverin crashes against the mat.
Saverin wants to control for a moment but Quinton uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Saverin wants to free his trapped foot but Quinton is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Saverin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Saverin tries to pass the half guard into mount. Quinton knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Quinton throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Saverin was covering up waiting for the punch and Quinton finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Quinton wants to pass the guard but Saverin is keeping the position.

Saverin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Quinton defends well.
Saverin manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Saverin is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Quinton has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Saverin is persistently looking for the submission but Quinton is defending it well.

Quinton breaks Saverin 's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Saverin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Quinton defends well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Quinton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Saverin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Eduardo Saverin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Lamar Quinton wasn't active enough on the ground.
Quinton looks to score with a jab to the body but Saverin is just out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Quinton shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Saverin manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Quinton drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Saverin manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Quinton has Saverin in his guard.

Quinton is trying to maintain the position but Saverin is very close to passing his half guard.

Saverin is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Quinton has managed to free his arm - good work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Saverin goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Quinton turns into him and now he's in Saverin 's guard.
Quinton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Saverin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Saverin wants to sweep here but Quinton controlling him for the moment.

Lamar Quinton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Saverin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
