Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tatsuya Komada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Satsuya Kondou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Komada comes into the arena with Little Busters blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kondou lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Komada darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Kondou wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Komada throws a strike but Kondou avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Kondou really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Komada. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and Kondou counters with a nice low kick that buckles Komada's knee momentarily.
Kondou scores with a hook to the body. Komada takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Kondou tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Komada manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Komada has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kondou.
Kondou lands with a kick to the temple. Komada shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Komada takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kondou tries to bum rush Komada with a series of wild strikes but Komada uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kondou's jab looks to have found its range, popping Komada under the eye.

Kondou goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
