Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Mauricio Rocha and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boys tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Boys throws a series of punches but Picone avoids them all with ease.
Boys doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Picone counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Boys fails with the takedown
letting Picone counter with a right hand.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Boys breaks from the clinch.
Boys moves away from the strike by Picone.
Picone has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Picone there as he acknowledges the shot.

Boys forces Picone back against the cage and clinches.
Picone is trying to break the clinch but Boys is controlling him.

Boys manages to break the clinch.
Boys throws a sloppy head kick and Picone moves out of range easily.

Boys fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Picone, pushing him back against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Boys pulls guard.
Boys tries to strike from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Picone wants to pass the guard but Boys is keeping the position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Picone with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Picone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boys. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Boys keeping moving, preventing Picone from controlling successfully.

Boys has his feet on Picone's thighs here. He's pushed Picone off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Picone screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
