Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edward Oaks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Vanica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vanica has chosen Muay Thai Classic as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andrei Vanica!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanica is looking to slow Oaks down with leg kicks.
Vanica tries a head kick but it misses.
Oaks tries for a takedown but Vanica circles away easily
and Vanica holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Come on Vanica - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Vanica connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like Edward Oaks has been cut.
Vanica keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Oaks's efforts to push away.
Vanica prevents a takedown attempt there.
Vanica breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Oaks takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vanica lands a big uppercut and Oaks crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Oaks looks OK. Vanica waves Oaks back to his feet!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vanica cracks Oaks with a left hook right on the temple and Oaks goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Vanica lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Oaks is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Andrei Vanica!
