The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blocko slips a straight right by Martin .

Martin misses with a jab to the body
and Blocko counters with a nice uppercut.
Blocko thows a body shot but no joy.
Martin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Blocko as he avoids it easily.
Martin connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Blocko's hands.
Blocko displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Martin throws out the jab.
Blocko wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

and Blocko moves into the clinch.

Martin has Blocko pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Martin pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Blocko tumbling to the mat - Martin dives into Blocko's guard.

Blocko sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Martin is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close round but I would say that Knocko Blocko will probably get the nod.

Blocko looks to land a combination. Martin sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
