Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Calvin Broadous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Broadous comes into the arena with Snoop Dogg I Wanna Rock blaring out of the sound system. Calvin Broadous has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kelly closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Broadous gets control of Kelly's arms and successfully pulls guard. Broadous will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Broadous is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Broadous tries to pass to full mount but Kelly defends it.

Broadous postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Broadous is standing up over Kelly. Kelly looks to escape but Broadous dives into side control.
Kelly wants to get back to his feet.

Broadous dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kelly. That did some damage!
Jesse Kelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kelly takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Broadous tries to close the distance and clinch but Kelly swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
