The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Moye finds it's target.
Rodriguez just misses with a punch to the body.
Moye defending well as Rodriguez loads up on a big left hand.
Rodriguez rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Moye counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Moye throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Rodriguez counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Rodriguez fails to land with a series of punches.
Rodriguez takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Moye changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Rodriguez swings for the body but Moye moves out of range.
Rodriguez uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Moye has time to react.
Moye avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rodriguez throws a poor cross that misses
and Moye counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Rodriguez throws an overhand right that lands on Moye's shoulder, as Moye tries to avoid the shot.
Rodriguez looks to land a right hand but Moye moved out of range.
Moye looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rodriguez is fending him off so far but Moye persists. Nope, Rodriguez circles away and we're back to standing.

and Moye counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Moye wants to pass the guard but Rodriguez is keeping the position.

Moye misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
