Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ground Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Su Baru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

It looks like Ground Guy has been cut.
Guy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Baru is fending him off so far but Guy persists. Nope, Baru circles away and we're back to standing.
Guy shoots in for a takedown but Baru shows good takedown defense.
Guy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Baru sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Guy somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ground Guy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Baru throws a series of punches but Guy avoids them all with ease.
Guy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Baru circles away.
Baru moves out of range of the leg kick from Guy.
Guy shoots for a takedown but Baru saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Baru unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Guy wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Baru celebrates on the ropes and the crowd goes wild!
