And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mana Sato!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sato gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Jaffar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Sato doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Jaffar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Sato closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jaffar to the mat! Jaffar manages to get full guard.
Jaffar looking for a sweep. Not yet Jaffar, not yet.
Sato passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Jaffar gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Sato is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Sato wants to pass the guard but Jaffar is defending well.
Sato is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Jaffar is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sato's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sato's back!

Jaffar has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

Sato is trying to defend against the choke here but Jaffar has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Jaffar Tightens the hold and Sato taps out furiously! Jaffar displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
