The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tressor is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Sean Smith just wasn't active enough.
Smith circles away from the clinch attempt.
Smith shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tressor defends it nicely.
Tressor misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Smith looks to score with a jab to the body but Tressor is just out of range.
Bruno Tressor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Smith feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tressor tries to clinch up but Smith circles away and keeps his distance.

Tressor leaves Smith with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Smith fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tressor avoids it really well and circles away.
Tressor pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Smith back to the cage. Tressor follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Tressor wants to clinch.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Smith shoots for a double leg takedown but Tressor sprawls well. He's pushed Smith's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

A jab-cross combination lands for Tressor and sends Smith crashing to the mat! Tressor follows him down to the mat - Smith regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Tressor decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Oh Smith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Smith throws a wild hook but Tressor just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Smith gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Tressor raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
