PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Akaboshi Aida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cobra Kai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Aida might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Iggy Pop - The Passenger. Akaboshi Aida has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kai misses with a wild body shot.
Aida bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kai swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Kai has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kai is pressed up against the cage. Aida has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kai down to the mat. Kai avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Kai feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Cobra Kai comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kai has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
