The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark throws a lazy uppercut
and Thomas makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A jab from Stark misses.
Thomas fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Tony Stark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stark shoots in looking for a takedown but Thomas manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stark's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Thomas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stark manages to avoid it.
Stark misses with a right hand
and Thomas counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
A telegraphed right hand from Stark misses the target.
Thomas looks to land a right hand but Stark moved out of range.

Stark throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Thomas counters with a two punch combo.

and Thomas counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Stark thinking.
Thomas jabs Stark to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Thomas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stark.

Thomas throws a nice looking combination but Stark bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Thomas counters with a crisp one two that drops Stark! Thomas thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Stark to his feet! Stark is in big trouble!

Darius Thomas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Stark.

Stark thows a body shot but no joy.

A shot to the body from Stark misses
and Thomas counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Thomas connects with a body shot that sends Stark's belly button to the back.
Thomas throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stark sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Stark takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Stark misses with a lunging right hand
and Stark takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Stark misses with a left hand
and Thomas counters with a one-two to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Thomas scores with a jab to the head.

Thomas avoids the body shot from Stark.

A jab lands there for Thomas.
The fighters circle momentarily. Thomas darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Stark is trying desperately to land a takedown but Thomas is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Stark.

and Thomas counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Stark thinking.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Thomas's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Stark takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Stark swings for the body but Thomas moves out of range.

and Thomas makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Thomas missing with a left hand there. Stark was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Stark swings widly with a right hand
and Thomas comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Stark stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Thomas is on him like rabid pit bull! Stark slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
