Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chris Jhonson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jb Trent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jhonson throws a left and a right that both miss

and Trent decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jhonson's guard.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
Trent wants to control from the top but Jhonson keeps moving.
Trent throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jhonson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Jhonson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Trent really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jhonson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Trent accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Trent is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Trent is working for an americana but Jhonson has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Trent was thinking about the submission.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Jhonson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Trent circles away quickly and effectively.

Trent is trying to drag Jhonson to the mat but Jhonson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Trent manages to get his head free but now Jhonson has transitioned to an armbar! Trent grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Jhonson! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
