Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bjj Partner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Neddles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Douglas Neddles acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neddles rushes Partner and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Neddles pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Partner misses with a takedown attempt
and Neddles counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Partner moves to clinch but Neddles breaks away

and Neddles holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Partner trying to control the position but instead, Neddles has worked for underhooks and has pushed Partner into the cage.

Neddles breaks from the clinch.
Partner shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Neddles counters with a two punch combo.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Neddles lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Partner circles away quickly and effectively.

Neddles gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Neddles breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sloppy strikes from Neddles. Those never looked like landing.
Neddles sizes up Partner with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Neddles misses with a double jab.

Neddles lands a big head kick that sends Partner tumbling to the mat! Neddles takes a step backwards and waves Partner back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Partner is rocked!

Partner gets tackled into the cage by Neddles. Neddles maintains the clinch.
Oh Partner is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Neddles breaks the clinch.

Neddles gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Partner seems to have got his legs back now.

Neddles breaks from the clinch.
Partner showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Neddles.
Douglas Neddles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Partner tries to clinch up
and Neddles counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Neddles misses with a series of wild punches.
Partner drops his hands momentarily and Neddles takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Neddles throws a nice looking combination but Partner bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Partner shoots in and gets a takedown into Neddles's guard.
Partner stops Neddles from standing up.
Partner trying to control the position from guard on top but Neddles is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neddles scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Douglas Neddles is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Partner thows a leg kick but Neddles checks it
and Neddles counters with a three punch combo that has Partner backing up. Partner nods at Neddles to acknowledge the strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Partner misses with a few strikes there.
Partner has his takedown stuffed

and Neddles counters with a crisp one two that drops Partner! Neddles thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Partner to his feet! Partner is in big trouble!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bjj Partner. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Partner is breathing heavily.
Neddles swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Partner bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Neddles sneaks out the side door and pushes Partner away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Neddles lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Partner with a poor takedown
and Neddles counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Neddles lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Partner finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Neddles's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Partner falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
