Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dougy Weight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keenan Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Dougy Weight has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Weight throws a nice inside leg kick.
Dougy Weight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice inside leg kick there by Weight. That's going to slow Gracie down.
Weight fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gracie.

Gracie darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Gracie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Weight doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gracie.

Weight tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gracie wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Gracie changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Weight looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Weight fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gracie.
Weight fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gracie has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Weight with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Gracie looks for a takedown but Weight sprawls well.

Weight throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Gracie.
Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Gracie takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Weight dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gracie. That did some damage!
Gracie walks into a jab.
Weight connects with an inside leg kick.
Weight plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into Weight's guard.
Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Weight is retaining full guard.

Gracie has gone for a leg lock! Weight slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gracie's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Dougy Weight just wasn't active enough.
Weight is looking to slow Gracie down with leg kicks.
Gracie takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
