The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiriel shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Matthews counters with a nice uppercut.

Matthews turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Matthews manages to end up in side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
