Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Trung Lu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benji Cada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cada has chosen Devil Went Down To Cadaville as his entrance music. Benji Cada has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lu throws a combination that misses
and Cada counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Cada is thwarting Lu's attempts to control the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Benji Cada showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

so Cada counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Cada passes Lu's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Lu is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Cada throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lu's waist but Lu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cada off to one side.

Cada pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lu is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Trung Lu showed his dominance in that final round.
