Johnson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Thacker sprawls well initially but Johnson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Thacker holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Thacker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Johnson circles away quickly and effectively.
Thacker thows a body shot but no joy.
Thacker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Johnson moves away.
Johnson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Thacker scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
