Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shepard Pie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pie comes to the cage accompanied by Bring the Noise. Green has chosen Transplants - Romper Stomper as his entrance music. Charlie Green struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Shepard Pie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Chad Campbell and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green looks to land a combination but Pie avoids it well.
Green avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Green stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Green wants it to stay on the feet.
Green throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Pie counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Pie throws a poor cross that misses
and Green connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Green throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pie swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Green counters with a one-two to the body.
Green tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pie paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Green throws a shot to the body.
Pie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Green is fending him off so far but Pie persists. Nope, Green circles away and we're back to standing.
Pie doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Pie misses with a left hand
and Green counters by clinching up.
Green has Pie pressed against the cage, preventing Pie from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Green lands a right hand.
Pie misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Pie jumps guard but Green stands there with Pie around his waist. Pie gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shepard Pie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Green gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Pie wants to sweep but no luck.
Green cracks Pie with a solid left hand.
Green stands up over Pie, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Green seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Green is nestled in close to Pie, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Green is keen to just control but Pie is a slippery customer.
Pie won't allow Green to pass to mount.

Green wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pie keeps working.
Pie has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Green. Oh but Pie has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Green goes limp - he's gone! Pie jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
