Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jailton Moreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenny Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jailton Moreira!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moreira shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johnson as he avoids it easily.
Moreira showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Johnson.
Johnson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Moreira is trying hard to land a takedown here. Johnson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Johnson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Moreira on the side of the head.
Johnson throws a lazy head kick
and Moreira counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Moreira postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Johnson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Moreira, into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moreira has his foot on Johnson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Johnson works his way back into a safe position though.
Johnson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Johnson wants to stand but Moreira is controlling his posture from full guard.

Johnson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Moreira looking for a guillotine here but Johnson defends easily.
Johnson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Johnson is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Moreira is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Johnson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moreira on the ground.
Moreira looks gassed!
Johnson throwing strikes but missing.
Johnson stands and steps away. Moreira gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Johnson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Johnson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Johnson misses with a body kick.
Johnson scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Moreira shoots in for a double leg but Johnson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kenny Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jailton Moreira.
Moreira takes a kick to the side of the head.
Moreira is rocked!
It looks like Jailton Moreira has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Johnson lands a big right hook! Moreira looks hurt but is still standing! Johnson lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Moreira falls down and Johnson dives in with a huge hammer fist! Moreira's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Johnson runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kenny Johnson!
