Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lennart Johnsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zeus Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zeus Machine is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Zeus Machine!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Machine rushes Johnsson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Machine lands an elbow inside that Johnsson shrugs off.

It looks like Lennart Johnsson has been cut.
Machine landing knees to the body.
Machine is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Johnsson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Machine connects with a nasty looking knee right to Johnsson's face.
Machine stalls.

Machine manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Machine has his foot on Johnsson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Johnsson works his way back into a safe position though.
Johnsson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Machine on the ground.
Machine is pulling down on Johnsson's head. It's preventing any offense from Johnsson, at least for the moment.

Machine is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Johnsson defends well.
Machine pulls Johnsson in close to his closed guard and prevents Johnsson from doing any damage or advancing position.

Machine working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Johnsson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Johnsson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Johnsson postures up in Machine's guard and throws a big left but Machine blocks it.
Machine is trying to keep Johnsson in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Machine is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Zeus Machine wasn't active enough on the ground.
Machine throws a head kick that Johnsson semi-blocks.
Johnsson misses with a combination
and Machine counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

and Machine counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Machine.
Machine just leaning against Johnsson, taking a breather.

Machine turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Machine manages to end up in side control.
Machine moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

It looks like Machine might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Machine tries to score with some ground and pound. Johnsson controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Machine has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Machine swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
