Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Odin Caordebmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Kellerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chuck Kellerman is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Odin Caordebmo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chuck Kellerman!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kellerman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kellerman showed some decent athleticism there.
Caordebmo tries to roll over but Kellerman keeps him under control.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Caordebmo manages to escape and get back to his feet!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Chuck Kellerman hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Caordebmo tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Kellerman counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Kellerman is taking a breather. Caordebmo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Caordebmo is breathing heavily.
It looks like Kellerman might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Chuck Kellerman hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

and Caordebmo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kellerman's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Caordebmo throws his legs up looking for a submission but Kellerman uses it to pass to side control.
The referee asks Kellerman politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Kellerman prefers to stall for the moment though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Kellerman has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Caordebmo uses from the top position.

Chuck Kellerman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Kellerman is working to tighten is grip on Caordebmo's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Caordebmo has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Kellerman is really squeezing tight and eventually Caordebmo passes out! Kellerman breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
