The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Casamayor's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hanes connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Casamayor scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Sylvio Casamayor has been cut.
Hanes listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Sylvio Casamayor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Hanes counters with a three punch combo that has Casamayor backing up. Casamayor nods at Hanes to acknowledge the strikes.

Hanes shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Casamayor eats them both and turns towards Hanes to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

and Hanes counters with a series of strikes. Casamayor will be more careful next time no doubt.

That has opened up Sylvio Casamayor's cut even more.

Hanes smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Casamayor moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Hanes scores with a shot to the body.
Hanes lands a glancing blow to the side of Casamayor's head.

The cut above Sylvio Casamayor's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Hanes fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Casamayor avoids it really well and circles away.

Hanes drops Casamayor with a beautiful combination! Casamayor stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hanes is looking for the KO!
Hanes lands with a hook. Casamayor tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Sylvio Casamayor's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Hanes shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Casamayor as he avoids it easily.
Hanes catches Casamayor with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sylvio Casamayor's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
