Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mayuri Tatsuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Trent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tatsuki comes to the cage accompanied by Norther - Released. Mark Trent acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tatsuki takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Tatsuki takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Trent shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Tatsuki tries to get to full guard but Trent has control of the leg.

Tatsuki looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tatsuki manages to get to full guard.

Tatsuki looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Tatsuki will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Trent looking to pass the guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Trent working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Tatsuki's head.

Tatsuki wants to sweep here but Trent controlling him for the moment.

Tatsuki escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Trent gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Trent wants to control from the top but Tatsuki keeps moving.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Trent engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Tatsuki escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Trent gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Trent looking to sit in guard and control but Tatsuki gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Trent is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Trent utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Tatsuki tries to free his leg and advance position but Trent is retaining full guard.

Tatsuki throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Trent works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Trent wants to stand but Tatsuki is controlling the position.
Tatsuki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Trent swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tatsuki lands a couple of decent looking shots.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Trent keeping moving, preventing Tatsuki from controlling successfully.

Tatsuki is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Mark Trent will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Trent slips a straight right by Tatsuki.
Tatsuki connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Trent throws an overhand right that lands on Tatsuki's shoulder, as Tatsuki tries to avoid the shot.
Tatsuki lands with a cross.
Trent falls off balance throwing a combination
and Tatsuki counters with a nice body kick.
Tatsuki ducks right into an uppercut from Trent.
Trent cracks a nice hook into Tatsuki's ribs.
Tatsuki lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Trent at a distance.
Tatsuki throws a head kick but Trent moves out of range.
Trent is breathing heavily.
Nice defenses there by Trent.
Tatsuki wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tatsuki throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Trent's head.
Tatsuki thumps Trent with a low kick.

Trent ducks under a wild hook from Tatsuki.
Tatsuki throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Tatsuki lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Mark Trent has been cut.
Trent stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tatsuki.
Tatsuki lunges at Trent with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Trent's hand.
Tatsuki connects with a single shot there.

Trent is rocked!
Tatsuki drops Trent with a straight right hand, right on the button! Tatsuki follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
