Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Perry Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Munster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cox might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Solitaire Unraveling. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munster has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Cox.
Cox tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A cross from Cox lands.
Cox is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Munster.
Munster misses with a takedown
and Cox counters with a straight right hand.

Munster throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cox was covering up waiting for the punch and Munster finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Munster not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Cox is adopting a defensive guard.

Munster shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Munster walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Cox counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Munster takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and Cox counters with a series of strikes. Munster will be more careful next time no doubt.
Cox misses with a wild body shot.
Munster throws a leg kick that is checked
and Cox counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cox, as that shot connected.
Munster wants to slow Cox down by chopping away at his legs.

Cox tries to hold on but Munster postures up.
You get the feeling that Cox really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Munster throwing strikes but Cox bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top.
Munster preventing the sweep.

Munster has gone for a leg lock! Cox slips out almost immediately though and dives into Munster's guard.
Munster is trying to control the position but Cox postures up.
Cox wants to get up but he can't break Munster's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Munster throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Munster has a closed guard, preventing Cox from standing up.

Munster is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Cox frees his head nicely. Oh but Munster has switched to an armbar! Cox is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
