Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kelvin Celsius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Olli Kuhta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuhta has chosen Break Out as his entrance music. Olli Kuhta is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Celsius tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kuhta was well out of range. Poor timing from Celsius.
Celsius checks a low kick from Kuhta.
Kuhta closes this distance looking for a takedown but Celsius circles away.

Celsius gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Kuhta wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Celsius has him pressed against the cage.

Celsius's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Celsius throws an elbow that misses.

Celsius escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Celsius cracks Kuhta with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

and Celsius counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kuhta is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Kuhta really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Celsius. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Celsius drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Celsius jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Celsius works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Kuhta trying to hold on to Celsius's head to control him but Celsius postures up.

Celsius wants to work for an arm triangle but Kuhta is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Celsius seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kuhta tries to roll over but Celsius keeps him under control.

Celsius works his foot free and advances to mount.

Celsius has control of Kuhta's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kuhta regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Celsius controls the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Celsius looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Celsius is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kuhta can't fight it off and eventually Celsius manages to take the fight to the floor. Kuhta looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Celsius looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Celsius is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Kuhta is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
