Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roland Mackie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slamito Guerrero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roland Mackie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Slamito Guerrero!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guerrero misses with a kick to the body.

Guerrero looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Mackie is trying to get back to full guard.
Mackie is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Guerrero's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Guerrero's back!

Mackie is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Guerrero is defending well though. Mackie let's go of the attempt for now.

Guerrero is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Mackie gets his way!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Guerrero is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Mackie working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.

Guerrero manages to reverse the position and now he's in Mackie's guard. Nice work there by Guerrero.
Guerrero stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mackie swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Guerrero thows a big elbow that misses.

Mackie looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mackie is breathing heavily.
Guerrero wants to stand and escape but instead Mackie has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Guerrero really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mackie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Guerrero scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Guerrero shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Mackie could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Guerrero trying to control but he's not successful this time.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Guerrero is stalling here but it's allowed Mackie to get half guard.
Mackie is trying to get back to full guard.
Guerrero slips a nice elbow through Mackie's hands, connecting with Mackie's forehead.
Guerrero lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Mackie is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Guerrero scores with a couple of nice shots.

Guerrero stands up out of the half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Mackie takes the fight into the clinch.
Guerrero throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Guerrero misses with a short punch on the inside.
Mackie fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Mackie pulls guard.
Guerrero in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Guerrero stands up and waves to Mackie to follow him.

Guerrero changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mackie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Mackie manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Guerrero wants to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Guerrero stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Guerrero shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Guerrero showed some decent athleticism there.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mackie is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Guerrero pulls his head out easily.
Mackie works his way to full guard. Good work.
Guerrero won't allow Mackie to sweep him here.

Mackie working for a triangle but Guerrero defends it easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mackie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Guerrero's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Roland Mackie will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Guerrero lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Guerrero gets to his feet. Mackie looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Mackie misses with a takedown attempt - Guerrero sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Guerrero feints and as Mackie raises his hands in defense, Guerrero changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mackie preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Guerrero postures up in Mackie's guard and throws a big left but Mackie blocks it.
Guerrero trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Guerrero lands a couple of digs.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Guerrero gets to his feet - Mackie follows without any prompting.

Guerrero darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Mackie is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Guerrero pulls his head out easily.
Guerrero is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mackie slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Guerrero wants to stand and escape but instead Mackie has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Guerrero wants to stand but Mackie is controlling the position.
Guerrero wants to hit a switch here but Mackie passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Guerrero there!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Mackie wants to finish this one by submission but Guerrero is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Mackie.

Mackie working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Guerrero turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Mackie off and cradles Guerrero's limp body as Mackie celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Roland Mackie!
