Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vinnie Bozzio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shatei Yoshida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shatei Yoshida told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshida blocks a head kick by Bozzio.

Yoshida shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Yoshida showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Yoshida looks to land a strike but Bozzio avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Yoshida holds on and takes a little breather.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Yoshida can do anything to dispel that myth.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Shatei Yoshida hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
