Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Garcilazo Mma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Kresina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Kresina has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kresina wants to clinch but Mma slips to the side
and Mma counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kresina looks to clinch
and Mma counters with a nice uppercut.
Mma tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kresina sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mma somewhat.
Kresina tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Mma counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kresina won't be happy with that.
Mma throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kresina is not content to let Mma control the position.

Mma tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Kresina tries to escape but Mma is in control.

Mma is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kresina has escaped the position, nice work there.

Mma goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Kresina rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Mma's guard! Nice work there by Kresina!

Mma is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kresina is aware though and is defending well.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Mma has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kresina is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mma.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mma tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kresina wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Kresina tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Mma is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Kresina is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Kresina wants to stand but Mma is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Mma is just holding on here. Kresina manages to take his back.
Mma wants to control his opponent's hands but Kresina gets his hands free.

Mma manages to reverse the position and now he's in Kresina's guard. Nice work there by Mma.
Mma stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kresina swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kresina keeping moving, preventing Mma from controlling successfully.

Mma drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kresina looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kresina looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kresina!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mma is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Kresina working away.
Mma is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Kresina is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Kresina prevents Mma from getting the reversal.
Mma is working hard here to advance position.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Kresina wants to clinch.
Mma circles away from the clinch attempt

and Mma counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Mma is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Mma is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Kresina!

Mma looking for a guillotine from mount but Kresina is having none of it.
Kresina really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mma. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mma swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kresina is now in Mma's guard. A big mistake from Mma there, giving up the dominant position!

Kresina is looking to stand up but Mma won't let him.

Mma is looking to sinch up a triangle. Kresina throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Mma's body to avoid the submission. Mma has instead reached around Kresina's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Mma arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
