The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jones is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Perez is just riding it out for now. Jones eventually gives up the hold.
Jones uses his free foot to push down on Perez's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Perez.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Oooooh!!! Perez has knocked Jones down with a huge combo! Perez steps away and waves a wobbly Jones back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Jones leaves his chin hanging out and Perez seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Jones crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
