Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karva Jorgos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorgos has chosen Schnappi Das Kleine Krokodil as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Karva Jorgos!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jorgos takes a swing at Johnson's ribcage but misses.
Jorgos looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Johnson lands a jab-cross combination.
Karva Jorgos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson misses with a takedown attempt
and Jorgos cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Johnson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Jorgos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Johnson moves away.

Johnson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jorgos is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jorgos has escaped and now he's on top!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Johnson tries to roll over but Jorgos keeps him under control.

Jorgos wants to lay and pray for a moment but Johnson keeps working.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Jorgos passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Johnson!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jorgos tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Johnson is looking to improve his position but Jorgos isn't that keen on the idea.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Johnson bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Jorgos escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johnson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Johnson feints a jab promting Jorgos to slip. Johnson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Jorgos slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Jorgos throws a right and a left that Johnson avoids nicely.
David Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Johnson counters with a takedown into side control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Jorgos has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Johnson is working away from the top position though.
Jorgos slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Johnson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jorgos manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Johnson has Jorgos in his guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jorgos accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Johnson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Johnson is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

I've got Jorgos winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
