The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murder thows a leg kick but Patton checks it
and Patton counters with a good low kick that Murder was not able to check.
Murder misses with a low kick.
Patton throws a leg kick
and Murder counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nice body kick there by Patton.
A low kick from Patton is predictable there
and Murder counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The fighters circle momentarily. Patton darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

and Murder counters with a right hand to the body.

and Murder makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Murder moves out of range of the leg kick from Patton.

and Murder counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Patton lands a nice shot that snaps Murder's head back.

Murder fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Patton has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Murder throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Murder lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Patton throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

and Murder counters with a crisp right hand that drops Patton! Murder lets Patton back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

It looks like Mike Patton has been cut.
Murder scoring well with a low kick there.
Patton is still on wobbly legs! Can Murder finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Patton does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Patton seems to have recovered his senses.
Patton has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Patton there as he acknowledges the shot.
Murder avoids the head kick by Patton.

Murder throws a front kick aimed at Patton's knee but Patton avoids it well.

Murder connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Murder walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Murder misses with a looping left.
Patton fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Murder has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Murder sizes up Patton with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Murder is looking to slow Patton down with leg kicks.
Murder fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Patton.
Murder bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Patton ducks under a wild hook from Murder.
Murder buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Patton takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Some bone on bone action there as Patton checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Murder circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Patton drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Murder follows Patton to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
