Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gonzo Bunga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Kostroff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kostroff moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Horrible takedown by Bunga or perhaps it was just good defense by Kostroff which made him look bad.
Donk. Kostroff catches Bunga right on the button with a cross.
Kostroff lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Kostroff stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Kostroff throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bunga.
Bunga shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kostroff as he jumps to the side.
Kostroff throws a series of punches but Bunga avoids them all with ease.
Bunga shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kostroff pinned against the cage. Kostroff gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Alex Kostroff is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bunga feints and as Kostroff raises his hands in defense, Bunga changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bunga closes the distance and clinches up with Kostroff, looking for a takedown. Bunga pushes Kostroff against the cage but Kostroff circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kostroff connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Bunga takes one on the button.
Gonzo Bunga is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kostroff drops Bunga with a right and a left! Kostroff comes rushing in but Bunga regains his composure and manages to keep Kostroff in guard.

Bunga shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kostroff but Kostroff pushes him off and we're back to square one.
