The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Rite tenderised Oyer's leg. Oyer is trying to keep his angry face on.
Oyer misses with a double jab
and Rite connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Robert Oyer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rite closes the distance and clinches up with Oyer, looking for a takedown. Rite pushes Oyer against the cage but Oyer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Oyer throws a combination that misses
and Rite counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Oyer swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rite counters with a body kick that stops Oyer in his tracks momentarily.
Oyer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Oyer wants it to stay on the feet.
Oyer throws a body kick the misses
and Rite counters with a head kick that drops Oyer to the mat! Oyer scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
